Main Features
Pop-Up Dictionary Feature
Upon rollover, a pop-up dictionary gives the definition of words.
This feature is available for use on Office softwares such as
Word and Excel, and also webpages. It can also import data from EPWING
style CD-ROM dictionaries.
By changing the settings, you can see the translations in sentences instead of words.
Plug-in for Office Software
A special button is added to the toolbar of Office Software such as Word and Excel making translation as easy as a push of a button.

Drag and Drop Translations
Translate multiple documents such as Word and Excel files by simply dragging
and dropping the document into HONKAKU HONYAKU 6.
Compiled Sample Sentences
Comes included with a special software with over 20,000 sample English sentences compiled from Asahi Press's "Dictionary of Expressions Used in Spoken and Written English", making it easier to create English documents.
Audio Translation Feature
HONKAKU HONYAKU 6 also comes with an audio feature which translates and pronounces English words, and also a microphone translation feature which translates Japanese spoken through the microphone into English (Feature only available for "HONKAKU HONYAKU 6 Platinum").
Editable Glossary
The editable glossary allows you to register frequently used terms into the dictionary, cutting down on translation time and increasing efficiency.
Translation of Technical Terms and Jargons
By entering a special key code (which can be purchased online), you can add a whole new set of dictionaries which allow you to translate special set of terms such as technical terms and jargons.
